Garett joined Via Design in 2009 as the firm’s furniture craftsman. With nearly two decades of experience in woodworking and product design, he brings a thoughtful, hands-on approach to every project. He is passionate about sustainable materials, finishes, and innovative design solutions, continually exploring ways to merge craftsmanship with performance and longevity.

For Via Design’s clients, Garett translates design concepts into functional, one-of-a-kind pieces that reflect each client’s vision, style, and needs. His work includes custom furniture, accessories, and installations, each thoughtfully crafted to elevate and enrich the spaces they inhabit.

Garett studied at Western Michigan University and Grand Rapids Community College, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education with concentrations in English, History, and Communications. Outside of work, Garett enjoys life with his wife and their two boys, whether cheering at soccer games, playing in the yard, or exploring nearby trails.
