Scott is the Chief Financial Officer at Via Design. He joined the firm in 2008 and is part of the leadership team. With a background in engineering and extensive experience in leadership and operations, he brings strategic insight, inventive thinking, and problem-solving expertise to guiding the firm’s growth. Known for his data-driven, approachable, and collaborative style, Scott combines technical skill with creative ingenuity to help the team deliver thoughtful, innovative solutions.

As CFO, he plays a critical role in company strategy, operational planning, and financial leadership, ensuring Via Design continues to thrive while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. He is also the founder and president of CLEO Cabinetry, a fully custom line of cabinets made in West Michigan; the founder of Birchgear, a new business unit at CLEO offering innovative home, vehicle, and bike storage solutions; and a design engineer and partner at Velocity USA, manufacturer of aftermarket bicycle wheels.

Scott is a graduate of Calvin University with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. Scott and his wife have two children and enjoy an active family life in West Michigan. Outside of work, you can find him mountain biking and yacht racing, where he applies the same curiosity and inventiveness that drives his professional work.
