Originally constructed as a hotel, this historic downtown building was transformed into Blue 35 Coworking Center, a four-story destination designed to support a diverse community of businesses and evolving ways of working. Via Design led the interior architecture and interior design, collaborating with Rockford Construction and Haworth on space planning to create a flexible setting that balances focused work with opportunities for collaboration and connection.

Working closely with Interphase Interiors, the design incorporates adaptable furnishings throughout spaces for individual and group work, allowing Blue 35 to function as both a coworking center and furniture showroom. Modern amenities and integrated technology were thoughtfully introduced within the historic structure, while exposed ductwork contributes to its contemporary industrial character. Commissioned artwork by David Tuck brings vibrant color and energy throughout the interiors.
