Becky Miedema is an Interior Designer at Via Design, having joined the firm in 2003. With over two decades of experience in both residential and commercial design, she guides projects from initial space planning and layout development to selecting materials and finishes that bring each vision to life. Known for her collaborative spirit, easy-going nature, and thoughtful yet practical approach, Becky helps clients and builders stay aligned through detailed plans and visuals, making her a trusted partner throughout the design process.

Becky began her design journey at Saint Mary’s College, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts and building a strong foundation in design principles and color theory. Following her true passion for interiors, she earned a Bachelor’s in Interior Design from Kendall College of Art & Design, bringing a deep understanding of material selection, construction detailing, and 2D/3D visualization to every project.

Outside of work, Becky is a busy wife and mother of two and finds time to recharge by hitting the pickleball court or spending time with family and friends. She also shares her expertise as an adjunct instructor in the Interior Design program at Grand Rapids Community College, finding teaching both rewarding and inspiring as she engages with the next generation of designers.
